There’s plenty of awesome merch out there based on Zelda, Mario, Animal Crossing, and other iconic Nintendo games, but you might be surprised to find out there’s also a shocking number of officially licensed jigsaw puzzles. These come in a variety of sizes, making them great as a gift for kids or as a week-long project that results in a cool piece of artwork. Most of them are reasonably priced too–so if you’re seeking a fun addition to your game room or a way to spend time away from your TV, they’re all worth a closer look.
If you’re a Zelda fan, you might enjoy the Tears of the Kingdom Jigsaw Puzzle. This 1,000-piece scene depicts Link on a Sky Island as he looks out over Hyrule. Consider pairing it with the Breath of the Wild Puzzle (which is also 1,000 pieces) to create a set, or the The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Field (500 pieces) if you want something smaller.
For serious jigsaw puzzle enthusiasts, you can test your skills with the gigantic Pokemon 5,000 Piece Puzzle. It’s priced at $79, but the final product clocks in at 60 inches wide and 39 inches tall–so it’ll fill up plenty of space on the walls of your game room. You’ll also find a premium Ravensburger Mario Jigsaw Puzzle that features all the main characters for $25 (was $30), and an abstract Animal Crossing Puzzle (1,000 pieces) for $27 (was $30).
There are a lot of other great Nintendo jigsaw puzzles available, all of which are officially licensed and built to high standards. To help you sift through all your options, we’ve compiled some of the best into the list below.
