Sony is probably announcing the PS5 Pro tomorrow in newly “technical” presentation – WGB

UPDATE: Sony put up an unlisted teaser trailer for tomorrow’s event, but seemingly accidentally titled the video “PS5 Pro” before changing it to “PlayStation 5 Technical Presentation – September 10”

ORIGINAL STORY: It looks like Sony is finally going to lift the lid on its open secret: The PS5 Pro.

According to the company, they’ll be hosting a special “technical presentation” on Tuesday, September 10 which will be hosted by lead system architect Mark Cerny.

Kicking off on 8am PT/11am ET/4pm BST the broadcast “will focus on PS5 and innovations in gaming technology.”

While I suppose it’s possible that the event, which is planned to be around 9 minutes long, might be about something else, all evidence seems to point at it being the official reveal of the PS5 Pro which we’ve known about since…well, it feels like forever. The presence of Mark Cerny is also very indicative of it being about the new machine.

An illustration based on the PS5 Pro’s packaging appeared not too long ago, and we’ve had numerous leaks regarding exactly what technology the new console will have packed under its hood.

Numerous insiders have also stated they’ve heard the PS5 Pro would be revealed in September, and others reports have suggested a planned November release date.

All that remains now is a pricetag. Care to take a stab at guessing the RRP?
